Aperture Demonstration Email

Only a couple days after receiving the email from Dr. Chase informing The Institute members about the dismissal of Ms. Belbell, all members and Cadre members received an email about a demonstration of The Aperture. This event is to publically speak of The Aperture for the first time.

Email Transcript:

FOR INTERNAL EYES ONLY

Dear colleagues, technicians, and study participants,

As we mentioned previously, we would love for you to join us for a brief demonstration of The Aperture this Friday, April 22nd, at 7pm to celebrate the end of the semester and the vital work we’re doing here at The Institute. As some of you know, after losing Ms. Belbell it’s taken quite some time to get this event put together, but we’ve finally secured a location for the event and booked space in Thompson Hall. Following the demonstration there will be time for a Q&A session about the device and its many applications. Afterwards, there will also be an opportunity to mingle with your colleagues and socialize with your peers. Light refreshments provided.

Please let us know if you plan to attend by signing up to this Eventbrite link: https://go.ncsu.edu/aperturedemo This will help us in the planning of the event with regard to the refreshments.

Speaking of Ms. Belbell, we have a few concerns that she, or her cohorts, may be attempting to infiltrate the event. If you see anything unusual, please notify one of The Institute personnel in attendance. And as always, for purposes of security, please do not divulge anything discussed in this email to any other outside parties and report any unusual activity to our offices thru our email: theinstitute@ncsu.edu

We hope to see you there,

Dr. Andre Chase

Lead Researcher and Undergraduate Supervisor
